WASHINGTON – For the second consecutive year, The Fertilizer Institute has been recognized as being one of the best manufacturing associations to work for by the National Association of Manufacturers’ (NAM) Council of Manufacturing Associations (CMA). The award assessment was based upon anonymously submitted feedback on the organization from TFI’s staff, as well as background information submitted by TFI.
“We were honored to be included among last year’s winners,” said TFI President & CEO Chris Jahn. “Being included for a second consecutive year cements my belief that the work environment at TFI is one that provides all employees with the freedom to do their best work, take risks, succeed and best serve our members. I am incredibly proud of this team achievement.”
Each year, the NAM’s CMA names ten trade associations as the “Best Manufacturing Associations to Work For” to recognize outstanding workplaces.
NAM CEO Jay Timmons presented TFI with the award at the CMA Summer Leadership Conference in Charleston, SC. Accepting the award with Jahn were fellow TFI leadership team members Kurt McMillan, Vice President of Member Services and Chief Administrative Officer and Lara Moody, Vice President of Stewardship and Sustainability Programs.
